Thats a one of a kind . It is an early speed safe and I was just trying some designs out and decided to build one just for the hell of it . I had only been making folders for a short time and was still getting my feet under me and figuring out my flavor. I would build one , modify the design some and build another. There are quite a few one of a kinds out there. I still get a kick out of making a new model and seeing a pencil sketch come to life so I can roll it around in my hands,test out the feel and abilities of a concept,play with them for a while to really understand the power and diversity of the design and its subtlties, kick the tires and off to a another concept. I really think it is important for new makers to do a great deal of this untill they develop there "signature style". Even after a maker develops there signature style. I still feel it is important to do this often to be able to continuously push there own abilities,limits and style to new levels .I Hope this answers your question. BTW I believe it is mid to later 1998 ish .
