So are all assisted opening knives from other companies licensed by Ken Onion?

Not all assisted opening knives are the same design. Although I'm not sure, I think that Kershaw is the only company that uses the SpeedSafe mechanism that Ken invented. Maybe Ken or Jeff could comment?

I know of no assisted openener that does not fall under Ken's patents.
